Just Starting

Ok, so there is a lot goin on in my life right now. Ummm it's all kinda hard to talk about right now so I think I'm goin to just start slow for right now. My mom called me the other day out at work and said that her and my dad were goin to get a divorce. Ya sucked...should have known it was coming but still hard to swallow. That night was a disaster for me. Friday was alright but I broke down again on Saturday night, but thankfully I had a couple good friends there to support me and talk when I really needed them. It's gonna be a tough road ahead but I have faith it's all gonna be ok.

School hasn't exactly been the best either. But I'm starting to take a different outlook on it as well. When I first started college I was an education major. As I progressed in my classes I was losing interest in the material and I was also losing the desire to become a teacher. So, five years into college I finally decided to change my major. CRAZY!!!!! I know right, but I figured I'd prefer to change my major now, while I'm still in school, rather than getting out into the field and then deciding I don't wanna be there. First off it wouldn't be fair to the kids I'd be working with, to myself, or the schools I'd be working for. This summer I will start working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting. Some people have told me I'm absolutely crazy for doin that but I love math, and working with numbers, and money. Plus, I'm good at it...lol

I'm going to begin my weight loss journey tomorrow. I made a bet with one of my good friends from school at Dodge at the beginning of this year, and did not follow thru with it. We talked again tonight and decided that neither of us really did a good job so we are trying again. I know have a workout plan that I'm going to be using, and I have more motivation this time also. I will be in two weddings in the next year...one in August, and one again in march. So I will need to be looking extra nice for that :)

Well, I hope this ok reading material for anybody that is interested. I am going to try and post weekly updates, at least through the summer because I will be staying at the house here by myself. I hope everyone is doin alright and have a nice day!!!!!
